Dr. Keith Rogers, MBA, PMP
Deputy Executive Director Chair
Dr. Keith Rogers earned his Doctorate in Business Administration from Grand Canyon University and Master of Business Administration degree from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas. . An alumnus of the UNLV Student Support Services program, Dr. Rogers currently serves as the Deputy Executive Director at UNLV’s Center for Academic Enrichment and Outreach. In this capacity, he manages the day to day operations of twenty-six federal projects and numerous special initiatives designed to increase access to and graduation from programs of postsecondary education of individuals from disadvantaged backgrounds. Additionally, Dr. Rogers provides oversight for programs designed to train individuals serving or preparing for service in programs or projects of similar design. For over a decade, Dr. Rogers has worked with leaders in business, technology, government and education. He has assisted for profit and not for profit organizations in streamlining processes, identifying opportunities, and coordinating efforts across departments using six sigma, project management techniques, resource and industry based analysis and other appropriate business methodology.
Tamara Champagne has built a reputation as a detail-oriented individual who exemplifies professionalism, strategic planning, managing various projects, improving efficiency of operations and team building. With deep industry knowledge, Tamara has thrived in soliciting business accounts and developing alliances with clientele.
Tamara has devised tactics to increase assets and profitability. She has trained and manages over 50 sales agents throughout the country to insure their success. She also developed and manages a profitable payment software product that has provided merchants with growth opportunities.
Embracing the core values of integrity, giving back and growth, Tamara has strategically developed a Community Partner Program, within Peak Payments. The Community Partner Program is designed to assist schools and non-profit organizations in raising non restricted funds. Peak Payments has been very successful at raising thousands of dollars for the community, utilizing this program.
Tamara is a licensed realtor and is a member of the Greater Las Vegas Association of Realtors. She specializes in representing clients in the purchase and sell of a single-family residences and income property within Clark County.
Juan has been a resident of Las Vegas for over 40 years and has been active in the community, volunteering for several non-profit organizations. Juan is a proud supporter of the LGBTQ community. Juan is a patient of COMC and is passionate about health care issues that affect the under-served communities.
Juan has been in business management for over 20 years and presently work as a Head Vault Supervisor at GardaWorld since 2000, managing over 60 + employees.
Willie Garrett "is" one of the ultimate television broadcasters not only in the state of Nevada, but in the entire county. He began his career 1992, at the CBS affiliate, KOLN/KGIN-TV, in Lincoln, Nebraska. In 1994 he accepted at job at WDJT-TV (CBS) in Milwaukee, Wisconsin at the Marketing Director. In 1995, the competition, WTMJ-TV (NBC), hired him away and he became a member of their award winning Marketing department. From 1995 to 2014, Garrett helped numerous Journal Broadcast Group properties including KTNV-TV in Las Vegas, WGBA-TV in Green Bay, and KMTV-TV in Omaha. In 2014, Garrett returned to Las Vegas where he is currently at KSNV-TV. He now sits on the NBC Marketing Council for Region 6, which is the entire West Coast. Every Las Vegas radio station group calls Willie a true partner and professional, when it comes to business projects and sharing brand awareness with the Las Vegas viewers and listeners.
Jay Matos is one of Nevada’s best known and longest-serving cannabis business consultant. Jay is a founding member of the prestigious Clark County Green Ribbon Advisory Panel also known as “GRAP” a government-appointed cannabis board that consist of some of Las Vegas most influential business leaders.
Jay owns his own consulting firm here in Las Vegas, Nevada called LeadNet, LLC. which specializes in cannabis consulting and compliance, mergers and acquisitions, licensing and critical management, government and public affairs. Through LeadNet Jay and his staff negotiate retainer agreements with businesses to represent them as a liaison on state and local municipal issues including working with City Council, County Commissioners and staff in compliance, applying for special use permits, restricted licenses, privilege licenses, zoning, fast-tracking, ordinances and many other government processes and procedures.
Jay has dedicated the past six and a half years to help the push to reform Nevada’s medical marijuana program here in Nevada. “The law is broken here in Nevada and I will do my part to help fix it.” said Jay Matos in the Las Vegas Review Journal.
As Director of Government and Public Affairs, Lizette Matos, along with the Leadnet staff, negotiate retainer agreements with businesses to represent them as a liaison on state and local municipal issues, including working with City Council, County Commissioners and staff in applying for special use permits, restricted licenses, privilege licenses, zoning, fast tracking, ordinances and many other government processes and procedures.
Lizette participated in political fundraisers and campaign events in 2012 and 2013, building support for SB374. She assisted in running the “In-Service Training” for Clark County Staff from Business Licensing, Comprehensive Planning, Zoning, Fire Chief, Metro and Liaisons to many of the County Commissioners.
Lizette staffed, as well as volunteered with, several grass roots political campaigns and, in 2013, she served as Chief of Staff for Nevada Assemblywoman Michele Fiore, in an internship capacity. Lizette Matos has resided in Las Vegas, Nevada for more than thirty years. For the last two years, Lizette has worked closely with both, State of Nevada, Department of Public & Behavioral Health and Clark County Business Licensing to provide guidance on Nevada’s Medical Marijuana Program.
